New Work: Daybreak It Solutions Website

A few months ago I received an email from the guys at Daybreak. They decided their website needed a facelift and wondered if I was interested. We met, and I instantly knew it was exactly the right kind of project for me. I had a pretty decent understanding of the industry, and after talking to them about what they wanted out of their new site I realized they were a great candidate for my favorite platform—Squarespace.

Their current site was functioning just fine—it just wasn’t doing anything for them in terms of branding. (Or excitement.) It consisted of large blocks of copy, very few images, and a rather confusing method of organization. More importantly, it did utterly nothing to market them as what they are—a phenomenal team and a hugely successful company!

Over the past couple of months, I worked closely with the whole team to make sure I captured the right image and voice for their company, and then translated that into a brand spanking new site. It features bold, energetic images, short bursts of information, strategic selling points targeted specifically towards their two distinct audiences, a custom-designed icon system to designate their job posting categories at a glance, and multiple calls to action positioned throughout the site.

As proud as I am of the final product, I’m even happier about how excited the guys at Daybreak are about their new site. It was a fun project to work on, and they’re a fun bunch to work with (even if they do occasionally try to get you to join them for 6am workouts). If you’re in the market for a job or looking to make an expertly-sourced hire, I cannot recommend them enough
